Florida 2006
Fort Lauderdale, Florida where the experiences are as endless as the
ocean, the pace is always carefree and the average temperature is 80
degrees. Fort Lauderdale, is known as the "Venice of America"
due to its expansive and intricate canal system. The city is known for its abundant beaches, bars,
yachts, night clubs, performing arts, and downtown museums.
The decision to have a reunion in Florida was because many of Weawea's
next generation decided to make Florida their home. There were many
things to do with our carefree days in this sun-drenched paradise.
We drenched ourselves on the beach with the sun and cool off
with the night life. We then headed north to Tampa
to experience another part of Florida.
Luxury and adventure—what could be better? That
was Bush Garden of Tampa where you can ride roller coaster
rides like the SheiKra which carries riders up to 200 feet at 45
degrees, then hurtles them 70mph back toward the ground at a
90-degree angel, or you can take the Tram ride and see animal like
giraffes
and hippos..
